There is no actual family Dr. They only have a nurse practitioners for the adult side. My kids have been going there since they opened in 2010 and I took one of my kids there last week and they made us do a new patient packet..I was like wth? ? Ms Moser told me that she would help get my seizure meds and guess what she never has/did.. so I have been going without it due to how expensive they are. You call and leave a message and your lucky if you get a call back in 3 days. :( Ms Tonya Gardner is very good if you are lucky enough to get in with her. The office people are very unprofessional & rude.
Mrs. Moser is always helpful and listens to any problems. All of the staff is friendly and courteous. Never have long waits always a very prompt visit.
My son had an appointment at 11 a.m. a few days ago. We arrived there at 10:45 a.m. and there was no one else in the waiting room. We were called back at about 11:15 a.m. My son and I then set in the room waiting on the doctor for over an hour. We did not leave the doctor's office until 12:30 p.m. When we finally arrived home, I received a phone call from Pelion Family Practice stating that my son missed his appointment that day. We definitely did not miss the appointment, they even gave him a school excuse lol, I have never seen a more unorganized doctors office in my life. They do not separate the sick patients from the well patients. My child could be there for a dentist appointment and be in the waiting room with a child who has the flu. Although the staff is friendly, they are also unprofessional and completely lost half of the time. I am currently looking for a new pediatrician, because this place is a joke.
This place is absolutely crap! I have never once seen an actual doctor. Just Moser the nurse practioner. And she blows off everything i say and inquire about when it comes to the medicines prescribed unnecessarily. She is caught up on the fact that she was schooled for nursing and i wasn't so i must not know what the hell i am talking about, but i do alot of research about my medical problems and the medicines i take. She needs to get up to date. pelion needs a real family practice, not this joke of a place
